I just submitted this cartoon but I am not sure if I did it correctly. Everything completed but I was only able to send it to the "Open Source Movies" area. The FAQ was of little help on explaining procedures. I assume it has other steps to go before it is public and hopefully that will include placing it in the correct catagory.

OK, I had done a search on it but didn't use the title itself. One would expect to have keywords and at least the fact it was a Superman cartoon.

I give credit to effort of this archive but it is one of the most disorganized places I have seen. I should have been able to upload to a specific place that is related to a subject. Then have an archiver review it for correct content and setup before it goes on-line. The wild manner of allowing uploads I see here is just leading to wasted space on their servers. There needs to be better title naming standards and standardized keywords as well as user keywords. I realize I am talking to the wrong forum for this, but I am frustrated that I wasted 2 hours on a wasted upload.

"OK, I had done a search on it but didn't use the title itself."

Gee, that's the first thing I usually do when searching.

What other searches did you use? Superman? Same result.

It's your fault, sorry.

Searching just
superman
would not have yielded that particular prior item in the classic cartoons. Unfortunately it's not designated in the item.

If you see a copy searchable that way now, it's the new redundant one in OSM.

I agree, it was my error not to have searched by the title. At the time I was doing a search to get a list of Superman cartoons available. I used "Superman" and "Superman Cartoon” The first gave me too much stuff so I used the second. I downloaded two I lacked and noticed I had one that the Archive did not seem to have. Assuming (and we know where that goes) that a keyword would have been set for at least 'Superman'.

Just to now satisfy my curiosity, will one of them be removed? Also, will it ever be moved to the Classic Cartoons area?

I am not complaining any more, just wondering how things work so I can know how to search for things later. I also have a number of other cartoons that might not be here and will post those as time permits.
